The sequel to Noir - definitely read in order. Very funny, with great 40s dialogue and a tongue-in-cheek noir style.
All of the Leonid McGill books are good, but All I Did Was Shoot My Man has one of the best titles of all time.
I love this young adult trilogy by Scott Westerfeld. The audiobook versions are marvelous, read with such enthusiasm by Alan Cuming

Fascinating book, and wonderfully read by the author on audiobook. Read this, then read The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams - a great double feature.
